Here’s what’s included in your comprehensive dental exam:

Digital X-Rays

We use advanced digital X-ray technology to provide clear, precise images with minimal radiation. These images help us detect early signs of decay, bone loss, tumors, cysts, and other conditions that may not be visible during a visual exam. Digital imaging also makes it easier for your dentist to show and explain what’s happening with your teeth and jaw, so you’re always part of the conversation.

Oral Cancer Screening

As part of your exam, we perform a quick, painless screening for oral cancer. We carefully examine your lips, cheeks, tongue, throat, gums, and neck to look for any warning signs. Early detection is critical, and we include this screening to protect your overall health.

Gum Disease Evaluation

Your hygienist will assess your gums for any signs of periodontal (gum) disease. Using a special measuring tool, we measure the space between your teeth and gums. Cavity Check
